Every family interacts differently, especially with physical presence and touch. During your documentary photo session, you will have the opportunity to connect with each other in ways that represent your natural rhythm as a family. Capturing your relationships in their authentic, relaxed and sometimes messy presentation is my favourite part of documentary photography.

We can meet at a location familiar to, and loved by, your family; or choose to document a brand new adventure. i received my first camera when i was 12 and have been taking photos ever since. in addition to over a decade of experience as a professional photographer, i am also an award winning graduate of the advanced visual communications program at western academy of photography.
outside of my photography experience, i also hold a degree in child and youth care and have worked in various childcare, education, and recreation settings for my entire career. I specialize in supports for children and adults with special needs and neurodiversity.
my unique combination of skills and experience allows me to create sessions that are tailored to you as a family. I understand differences in presentation, communication, and emotional regulation. i am quick to settle in and become familiar with new environments and people, and i love finding the rhythm that makes you function as a team.
